God's share program
God's Share Program is a non-profit organization. We exist to encourage Christian missionaries and provide them with the resources they need for their ministry. All resources are provided free of charge. Our prayer is that the resources we provide will assist in leading people to Jesus Christ. Through meeting basic needs we help show the love and care of our God.
God's Share Program was founded August 1, 2003. We started our ministry serving 7 missionary families in 5 different countries. To date we have served hundreds of missionaries and help provide resources in over 60 countries. Nowadays we find it more important to count the number of children and adults we serve via the missionaries. However, that number has become countless as we continually meet basic needs of children and adults in the U.S. and Internationally. In our early years we shipped more supplies. The supplies we send being ones not obtainable in country. If the supplies can be obtained in-country we find it better to send funds so that we also help the local economy. After 20 years of ministry and the changes we are experiencing in our world changes are starting to take place as we experiencing the sending of funds being equal or at times greater than resources supplied. However, we will continue to do both as God leads.
We operate the North Ave Thrift Store to help invest in the mission field. Our goal is low-dollar, high-volume sales. Low dollar to help people purchase what they need/want. High volume to keep donations selling to make room for more incoming donations. Our thrift store exists to pay our overhead expenses and provide a brick and mortar building for our ministry. We also endeavor to have funds generated by thrift store used towards our mission projects. The thrift store is also a great avenue to share with people about our ministry and provide them opportunities to get involved.

• Thursday–Friday: 10 AM to 5 PM
• Saturday: 10 AM to 2 PM (we are closed the second Saturday of each month)

God's Share Program and the North Avenue Thrift Store invest in the mission field on an ongoing basis. One hundred percent of donations go directly to the project you designate. The North Avenue Thrift Store raises the funds necessary to cover all our organization's overhead. From providing shoes and clothing, to food and greatly needed supplies, you can help boys and girls, as well as national workers today!
Here are some ways you can minister to people in need around the world:
• Provide malaria medication for one person in Uganda: $2
• Provide a mosquito net for an orphan in Tanzania: $25
• Feed an orphan in Tanzania for one month: $5
• Feed an elder in Tanzania for one month: $5
• Provide a soccer ball for a kid's club in Uganda (they quickly wear out!): $20
• Sponsor a filled Christmas stocking for Native American children in the USA or Canada (includes fabric for stocking and 20+ stocking stuffers: $25–50
• Purchase a school uniform for an orphan in Tanzania: $65
• Provide an eye exam and new pair of glasses for one person in Tanzania: $60
• Help with provision of Balikbayan boxes of supplies and postage (by boat) to the Philippines: $110
• Provide a hot breakfast for a child in the Philippines: $2
• Provide a study Bible for distribution through a missionary's traveling seminary in Cape Town, South Africa: $25
• Ship one box of kid's club supplies to Uganda (by airmail): $150
• Cover the annual cost for 150 orphans in Tanzania to receive a doctor's checkup exam: $750

We are the hands of Jesus, extended to a world in great need of a Savior and sometimes a hand up.
Families gather at the altar for a time of prayer during a Sunday service. God's Share Program helped fund the construction of the church facility.
A disabled man was provided a self-driven bicycle to help him more easily get around his community. God's Share Program funded this purchase.
This pastor with detoriorating eyesight was told by doctors nothing could be done to help his vision and that he should get a walking stick. God's Share Program provided the funds for him to purchase this walking stick.
This disabled widow was forced to crawl on the ground begging for food to feed her family. God's Share Program provided the hand-powered bicycle and the capital money for her to start her own business. No more crawling or begging!
Many elderly populations struggle with a lack of adequate food. God's Share Program provides finances to help support these precious folks!
Catherine is an orphan who could not hear. Doctors suggested hearing aids, so God's Share Program bought her two. Now she can hear!
The people of Musoma needed a church facility to worship in. God's Share Program helped them purchase the land, and the community is doing all the construction on their own.
An ongoing God's Share Program project is providing food for orphans in Tanzania. We still need additional monthly sponsors to help support 134 orphans at just $5 per month to make sure they can eat daily.
Many Africans suffer from albinism. God's Share Program helps meet needs of orphans with albinism by providing sunscreen, hats, and other necessary items.
